Steve Buntrock!!! I randomly found you on the internet when I was looking for good musicals to see on Broadway! You probably don't remember me from high school, I was a year behind you. I think I did your makeup for Oklahoma back at NNHS in 1985, your first theatrical production. Next time I'm in NYC I'll see where you're playing and catch your show. Congrats on an amazing career!

Stephen
Just wanted to say a quick hello from Alabama. I REALLY appreciate the hospitality and use of the house when Jeff and I were passing thru NYC. Trip to Africa went well and we are headed back there in a couple of weeks. Best to you, Erin, and your daughter. Tell them I said hello from Alabama. I took my kids camping out at Tannehill State Park which is between Birmingham and Tuscaloosa. It was a iron furnace during the Civil War but on the way I noticed a road called John Pelham Drive. Interesting. Anyway, hope you guys can make it down to AL soon.

While watching "Yankee Doodle Dandy" I suddenly thought of you.
It appears your career is doing well. I fondly remember when you lived in your upper west side apartment. Are you still interested in re-enacting? Since my heart gave out in the 90's, I only lecture a few times a year. Now I have a motorcycle touring business. If you ever find yourself in the Twin Cities again, give me a call...

Stephen, Congrats on a fabulous career ad a wonderful family, as Haley has many entries espousing her love for you. Very cool! We missed you at the 20th reunion, but perhaps we'll see you at the 25th. It was a late night down in the bunker with Rob, Billy Born and Pete Salzer, not to mention Jeff Marren. Besides all the acting, do you get on the soccer field any more. Wishing you all the best Stephen! Kent

I took my daughter to NYC to see Grease for her 11th birthday. Imagine my surprise when I saw "Steven R. Buntrock" listed in the playbill! His performace was top notch. I remember Steve from High School (especially study hall) and from Comfirmation classes at church. Who could've guessed that all these years later I'd see him sing "Beauty School Dropout" on Broadway?! Bravo!

Vicki (Rovel) Kirk (ultrawoman97@sbcglobal.net) from LA:

Stephen, I have been following your career ever since we used to do theatre together in Naperville. You, your sister and I used to do shows at the little outdoor summer theatre in Naperville. (Fiddler, Cinderella, & Little Mary Sunshine.) Not sure if it is still there. I missed you in Martin Guerre(sp.) when you were in LA with it. Would love to get back in touch with both you and your sister. I majored in Musical Theatre in college, but never made it to Broadway like I always dreamed. But I am still very active in theatrical productions in LA, as are my husband and 2 1/2 year old twins. Love your work! Always did. If you are ever in LA again, would love to catch up with you, your wife, and your kids. Hello to your sister for me too!

He is the perfect for that role.
Saw a clip of the gaston before him. He is nothing comparede to stephen.

Theres is only one Gaston and if they ever make a movie in real life.

Its going to be Stephen for sure.

Thank you for a perfect performance you and John Tartaglia as Lumiere is the best i ever seen in my life for thoose roles.

Me and my brother and girlfriend was so amazed that we saw the show 2 times:)

I saw Stephen perform quite a few times as Arnaud in Martin Guerre in L.A. I don't know if he remembers me or not. I'm the one who made the joke of him "dying" do the role every show. rofl I'm also a friend of D.C. as well. I was very fortunate to be able to go the opening night party in L.A. to hang out some with the cast. What fun that was! I was sad to see that the show never made it to Broadway. I really liked it and even name one of my cats Bertrande too. I'm so happy for you and Erin! Please give her my best. Hope to be able to see you both again someday! Take care! Best, Jeannette

We were happy that we had the opportunity to meet you, your wife, and daughter at the Stage Door. Your performance really touched us and your singing was phenomenal. Thank you so much for sharing such a beautiful gift with us! We wish you luck in your new endeavor.

Stephen and I were in a show together many years ago. I have been wondering what had happened to him and it is GREAT to see that he is doing well. He was my son in Cinderella is Seattle, Washington. He was Prince Charming and I was the King. We had some wonderful times together with our fellow actors.

Way to go Stephen!!!
