Hi Claudia. I just stumbled on your 14 yr birthday entry. I was 17 and very possibly in Cape May on July 2, too. I sometimes visited from So. America where I was living at the time. The Russian painter was my great-Aunt, the old lady cooking, her mother.

My family also owned a hotel on the beach. Who knows... maybe our paths crossed there so many years ago. Maybe I stopped to watch and listen to you sing. Maybe. I would have been a shy one on the sidelines then. :)

Hey Claudia, I read this before but just read it again ( your 14th birthday in Cape May). You write so vividly that I am instantly transported back in time. What an amazing childhood we had!! headed there for 2 weeks in August.

Skeeball???

HI CLAUDIA...NICE GOING WITH YOUR MUSIC. I REMEMBER SEEING YOUR NAME IN THE DISTANT DRUMMER IN PHILLY BACK IN 1970-71 OR SO. I WAS A STUDENT IN THE CITY BACK THEN. I WAS ALSO AT HADDON TWP HS THE SAME TIME YOU WERE. I ALSO SHOVELED YOUR WALK IN THE WINTER...FOR YOUR MOTHER THAT IS. SHE REALLY GOT HER MONEYS WORTH OUT OF ME AS I RECALL. I'M AN OLD GUITAR PLAYER MYSELF...OFF AND ON MOST OF MY LIFE I GUESS...ACOUSTIC BLUES AND SOME JAZZ. IN FACT I JUST GOT MY GIBSON OUT TODAY. ITS ABOUT 50 YEARS OLD AND I'M PLANNING TO SELL IT. I'M A PHOTOGRAPHER AND WAS AWAY TRAVELING AROUND THE WORLD MOST OF MY WORKINGLIFE. I REMEMBER YOUR SISTER TOO. I HEARD THAT SHE PASSED AWAY. I WAS VERY SORRY TO LEARN ABOUT THAT. I THINK I REMEMBER HEARING THAT SHE ALSO SANG. MUST RUN IN YOUR FAMILY GENES.
WELL, TAKE CARE...AND KEEP SINGING. THE MUSIC KEEPS US YOUNG. MICHAEL

Claudia c'est vous, vraiement!! I want you to
know that I often think about you being at our
Good Bye party in Elkins Park; that" Vie en Rose"
was so great and very sweet of you to sing for us!
Had no idea that you were recording CDs. I see
you live in NJ now, or is it just your artistic self
that's domiciled there?
Visited EP in May 2010 with Leba Grodinsky, boy
has it changed "in flavor"!

Glad to become your friend on FB. hugs, Irène

Dear Ms. Beechman Just droping you a line to let you know how much I enjoyed you Summer of '64 story. I lived in Wildwood at that time and had great summers myself. Loved meeting summer friends and keeping in touch over the years. My one friend lived in Phila. We have been friends for 50 years. We relive memories all the time. I wanted to ask you if you remember KIDDIE Land? located on Ocean Ave. Where Louies Pizza is now that area? Nina Scull was my music teacher in grade school at Wildwood High School grades kindergarten to 12th. Very uniques lady and very nice she loved my brother. My maiden name is Carlson lots of in the Wildwood area. Aren't childhood memories great!! Thanks for sharing. Would like to meet you sometime. I work at the Camelot Motel on Howard Street yearround and also At Lower Cape May Regional High School. If you areever in the area please stop by. Pauline Prince Cape May, NJ
