Stephen R. Buntrock played the role of Chris in the production of Miss Saigon at the Marriott Theatre in Lincolnshire, IL, just outside of Chicago, from Aug. 1 through Nov. 4, 2001.

The cast included the following performers: The role of Kim was split between Emy Baysic and Kristine Remigio . The Engineer was initially portrayed by Jim Corti; after Corti's departure, Joseph Foronda and then Herman Sebek took over the role. The leading cast was rounded out with Nikkieli DeMone as John, Susie McMonagle as Ellen, and Edmund Nalzaro as Thuy.
